The Monastery Notre-Dame de Ganagobie is a Benedictine abbey, founded in the 10th century, 20 km south of the campsite, on a steep plateau overlooking the entire Durance valley. The monastery of Ganagobie is located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region in an exceptional spot on the plateau of the same name. It lies at 350 metres above sea level and offers exceptional views of the Durance valley and the Montagne de Lure.
