Volonne Towers
Stroll to the Volonne Towers from the Hippocampe
A walk to the Volonne Towers provides you with the opportunity to admire the view above our campsite.
Follow Cours Jacques Paulon (the village square), then turn onto rue de l'Egalité past a pretty fountain, before veering onto rue du Verger to the right. At the intersection, turn left at a hairpin. Leave the asphalt to follow the steep path up to the towers. Follow until your reach the stairs at the top. From here, you’ll be able to take in stunning views over the rooftops of Volonne and the Durance’s river bends.
